There are generally four main levels of hairstylists in a salon, each with different levels of experience, expertise, and pricing. Here's a breakdown of the levels:
Master Stylists

Experience: 10+ years of experience, often with a specialized or celebrity clientele.

Senior Stylists

Experience: 3-5+ years of experience with advanced training in various hair techniques.

Stylists

Experience: 1-3 years of experience, certified and licensed to cut and color hair.

Junior Stylists

Policies
Cancellations Policy
We require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call the salon at (608) 214-4337 to speak with our front desk staff or leave a voicemail if unable to reach. If email communication works better for you, email us at the_loft@live.com. We understand that emergencies and last minute plans come up, In the event of a last-minute cancellation or a no-show, please see “Last-Minute Cancellations & No-Show Policy” for details.
Last Minute Cancellations & No Shows
A last-minute cancellation refers to any cancellation made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. The first last-minute cancellation or no-show is considered a warning. After the first last-minute cancellation or no-show, you will be required to leave a credit card on file and will be charged for 50% of the services missed.
Late Policy
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled and may need to reschedule your appointment, and the last-minute cancellation & no-show policy will apply.
Correction Policy
We want our clients to be satisfied with the services they receive at The Loft Hair Salon. If you are ever dissatisfied, please let us know within 14 days of your original appointment by contacting the salon at (608) 214-4337 or e-mail us at the_loft@live.com. We value your patronage and feedback! In the event of a correction, we are happy to help you schedule a complimentary appointment with your original stylist at no charge. If you would prefer to see a more experienced stylist, you will be responsible for paying the price difference between those stylists’ services.For color services, the result is best evaluated on fully dried styled hair. If you elect to leave the shop before the styling is completed or if you decline any part of your service (e.g. toning) you relinquish your right to a correction for this color service.
