A lot of the time, girls with brunette or red hair shy away from dry shampoo because of the white residue that is often left over. DIY your own dry shampoo for darker hair so that you can skip washing your hair!

Here are all the ingredients you'll need:
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons of corn starch
  • Dash of cinnamon

Apply at your roots and shake through with your fingers for a refreshed head of hair!

In a blender or food processor squeeze out contents of Vitamin E capsule and mix in all ingredients to a smooth cream consistency.
Shampoo hair, towel dry, apply mask roots to ends, shower cap for 30 min. Lightly shampoo and condition (optional).

I love avocados and hate wasting them, so I play "Russian Roulette" with them...  If the avocado looks sketchy to eat then it becomes a hair mask day!

Smiles!

Natural Hair Mask:
To increase strength, moisture, and shine.
Ingredients:
1 Ripe Avocado
1 Ripe Banana
2 Table spoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (optional: w/Rosemary)
1 Table spoon of Honey
1 capsule Vitamin E

  • Let hair grow out 2 to 3 weeks (about a quarter of an inch) before going in for waxing.
  • Book your service early in the morning before your skin gets clammy from exercise or errands.
  • Stay out of the sun 24 hours before and after your waxing service.
  • Exfoliate the bikini line the day before your appointment with a loofah or body scrub. Follow up with baby oil to soften the hair follicles.
  • Pop an aspirin or ibuprofen an hour before your appointment.
  • Let your aesthetician know of any medications you're taking.
  • Apply a first aid antibiotic gel with pain relief like Neosporin after the waxing as necessary.
  • Consult mother nature before you make an appointment. The best time to get waxed is the week after your menstrual cycle when your pain threshold is at its highest.
  • Skip the full monty on your first time. Unless you've got a high tolerance for pain, you may want to pass on the trendy Brazilian until you have some experience under your belt.
  • Practice a few g-rated expletives before the first rip.  =D
